Rosemary Gin Fizz

10-15 Minutes

Ingredients:

2 oz gin
1 oz fresh lemon juice
3/4 oz rosemary simple syrup (see recipe below)
Fresh rosemary sprig for garnish
Club soda


For the Rosemary Simple Syrup:
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
3-4 sprigs of fresh rosemary

Directions:

  1. First, grow your own rosemary using the Stack & Sprout device.

  2. Follow the instructions that came with the device to plant and care for your rosemary.

  3. Once your rosemary is ready to use, make the simple syrup:
    • In a saucepan, combine the sugar and water over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.

    • Add the rosemary sprigs and bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce the heat

    • Remove from heat and let the rosemary steep in the syrup for an additional 10-15 minutes, and let the mixture simmer for 10-15 minutes.

    • Strain the mixture and discard the rosemary sprigs. Let the syrup cool completely before using.

  4. To make the Rosemary Gin Fizz, fill a shaker with ice and add the gin, lemon juice, and rosemary simple syrup.

  5. Shake vigorously until well combined.

  6. Strain the mixture into a glass filled with ice.

  7. Top off with club soda and stir gently.

  8. Garnish with a sprig of fresh rosemary.
